Reception to RENALIYAS 22 years of experience. One purpose. Land to Legacy.

My journey began in Renukoot, a small town in Uttar Pradesh, long before I entered the professional world.

I was born into a family where my parents themselves had never had the opportunity to receive a formal education. Yet, they understood the importance of education and believed deeply in giving their children opportunities they had not had themselves. Although they had not been able to attend school themselves, they were determined to give their children the best education they could provide.

Growing up in Renukoot, my exposure to the outside world was limited. I did not grow up surrounded by corporate networks, business circles or a predefined professional path. What I had was a family that believed in education, hard work, discipline and the importance of creating one's own opportunities.

My parents taught us that where you begin does not have to determine where you go.

That belief became an important part of who I am.

At 19, I started my professional journey as a receptionist in the real estate industry.

Starting My Professional Journey At 19, learning the business one conversation at a time.

I did not know then where that first role would lead. I simply wanted to work, become independent and learn. Starting at the front desk gave me my first understanding of how a real estate business functions — how people interact, how customers are received, how teams work and how opportunities begin with conversations.

Over the years, my responsibilities evolved from reception into sales, business development, marketing, leadership and strategy. I remained within the real estate sector throughout this journey, growing with the industry and taking on increasingly complex responsibilities.

That progression gave me an understanding of real estate from the ground up.

Starting my professional life at 19 meant learning responsibility early. I was entering the workplace while still discovering my own strengths and aspirations, and had to learn how to communicate with different people, adapt to unfamiliar situations, manage responsibilities and take ownership of my work.

There was no substitute for experience. I learned by observing, asking questions, taking responsibility and understanding the consequences of my decisions.

Professional credibility is earned over time — through consistency, commitment, integrity, and the ability to stand behind your work.

As my responsibilities increased, so did my understanding of the industry. Moving through different functions within real estate allowed me to see the business from multiple perspectives rather than through a single role.

Sales: Understanding the Customer

My transition into sales brought me much closer to the customer.

I began to understand how people make real estate decisions, what influences their choices and how aspirations, financial considerations, timing and trust come together in a purchase.

Every customer had different priorities and concerns. Understanding those differences required listening carefully, communicating clearly and recognising what mattered to each individual.

Sales also taught me accountability. Targets provide a direct measure of performance, but the larger lesson was about trust. Real estate decisions often involve significant financial commitments, and confidence in the product, the organisation and the people representing it is critical.

Sales: Understanding the Customer Every conversation is where trust begins.

That understanding of the customer remained valuable as my career moved into broader business responsibilities.

Growing Into Business Leadership

As my career developed, I moved beyond sales into business development, marketing, team leadership and strategic functions.

My perspective began to expand from the individual transaction to the business behind it.

I started looking at the market opportunity, the customer, the product, positioning, pricing, marketing, sales and the commercial objectives of the business as connected parts of one larger system.

The questions also became broader. Why does this opportunity make sense? Who is it intended for? What does the market need? How should the proposition be positioned? What partnerships are required? And what will determine its long-term commercial success?

These questions gradually changed the way I approached real estate.

Learning to See Beyond the Project

Over 22 years, I have had the opportunity to work across different segments, markets and business environments within real estate. Each brought its own opportunities, challenges and commercial considerations.

That exposure taught me that there is no universal formula for success in this industry.

Location matters. Land matters. Product matters. Market conditions matter. Customer understanding matters. So do pricing, positioning, capital, partnerships and execution.

A development may be the most visible part of a real estate business, but many of the decisions that influence its success happen long before the customer sees the finished product.

Understanding the market before defining the proposition, identifying the right customer, establishing the appropriate positioning and aligning the right capabilities can significantly influence the outcome of an opportunity.

The Move Towards Strategy

My transition towards strategy developed naturally through years of working across different parts of the real estate business.

Sales gave me an understanding of customers. Marketing taught me positioning and communication. Business development taught me to identify opportunities and build relationships. Leadership taught me decision-making, accountability and the importance of people.

Strategy brought these experiences together.

I became increasingly interested in the decisions that happen before execution: why an opportunity makes sense, what the market requires, how the proposition should be positioned, what risks need to be considered and how different stakeholders need to work together.

Strategy is about creating clarity before committing resources and moving into execution.

For me, strategy is about creating clarity before committing resources and moving into execution. It means understanding the opportunity, defining the objective and establishing a realistic path towards the desired outcome.

It also means recognising that not every opportunity is the right opportunity. Good strategy requires both the ability to identify potential and the discipline to make informed choices.

22 Years in a Changing Industry

The Indian real estate industry has changed significantly during the years I have been part of it.

Customers have become more informed. Technology has transformed how businesses communicate and engage with audiences. Markets have become increasingly competitive, capital has become more sophisticated and expectations around quality, transparency and value have evolved.

I have experienced these changes from within the industry and have had to evolve alongside them.

There have been periods of growth and uncertainty, decisions that produced the expected results and situations that required a different approach. There have been opportunities that opened new possibilities and challenges that required resilience and patience.

These experiences have reinforced the importance of timing, alignment, adaptability and disciplined execution.

People, Partnerships and Leadership

Throughout my career, I have worked with developers, landowners, investors, customers, consultants, partners, leadership teams and professionals across different functions.

Working with people from different backgrounds and areas of expertise has broadened my understanding of business and influenced the way I approach leadership.

I believe leadership is about creating clarity, establishing accountability and bringing different strengths together around a shared objective. It requires listening to different perspectives, making decisions when necessary and taking responsibility for outcomes.

When complementary capabilities come together around a clear objective, an opportunity can become significantly stronger.

Partnerships have taught me something equally important: when complementary capabilities come together around a clear objective, an opportunity can become significantly stronger.

That belief in collaboration and alignment continues to influence the way I approach business.

The Experiences Behind the Career

A professional profile can capture positions, responsibilities and achievements, but it cannot capture everything that happens behind them.

There are difficult decisions, demanding situations, changing circumstances and moments when the outcome is uncertain. There are plans that need to change and situations where the way forward is not immediately obvious.

My career has included all of these experiences.

They have taught me to remain composed under pressure, to be decisive when circumstances require it and to distinguish between an opportunity that looks attractive and one that is genuinely aligned with the larger objective.

They have also reinforced the importance of resilience — not simply continuing, but adapting and moving forward with greater understanding.

What I Wanted to Build

After 22 years in real estate, I began thinking about what I wanted to create with the experience I had accumulated.

I had worked across sales, marketing, business development, leadership and strategy and developed a broad understanding of the real estate ecosystem.

I wanted to bring these capabilities together under one platform and approach opportunities from a more integrated perspective.

I saw an opportunity to work with developers, landowners, investors and strategic partners while bringing greater clarity to opportunities, stronger alignment between stakeholders and a more structured approach to value creation.

That thinking led to RENALIYAS.

The Birth of RENALIYAS

RENALIYAS represents the next stage of my professional journey.

It brings together the experience I have gained across different functions of real estate and the way I believe opportunities can be approached with greater strategic clarity.

The platform is built around three interconnected pillars.

I.

Strategy

Brings clarity to the opportunity, the market and the path forward.

II.

Partnerships

Brings together the right people, capabilities, resources and relationships.

III.

Development

Takes those opportunities towards tangible outcomes.

These elements work together. A strong opportunity requires clear thinking. Clear thinking becomes more effective when the right partners are involved. Ultimately, value is created through disciplined development and execution.

This is the foundation of RENALIYAS.

Land to Legacy

For me, land is the starting point, not the final objective.

The greater opportunity lies in what can be created from it — through the right vision, strategy, partnerships and development approach.

LAND TO LEGACY represents that philosophy. It reflects the belief that real estate can create value that extends beyond a transaction and becomes part of something lasting.

Looking Ahead

I believe Indian real estate is entering an important period of growth and transformation. The opportunities are substantial, but unlocking them will require more than capital and construction. It will require stronger market intelligence, sharper strategic thinking, aligned partnerships and disciplined execution.

This is where I see the opportunity for RENALIYAS.

My ambition is to build a platform with a distinct point of view — one that combines experience with strategy and brings the right people, opportunities and capabilities together to create meaningful, long-term value.

I want RENALIYAS to earn its reputation through the quality of its thinking, the strength of its partnerships and the outcomes it helps create.

The Journey Continues

When I think about the girl who grew up in Renukoot, I sometimes reflect on how little she could have known about the world that lay ahead.

She grew up in a family where her parents had never had the opportunity to receive formal education, yet they made education one of their greatest priorities for their children. They gave us the confidence to dream, the discipline to work for those dreams and the values to remain grounded along the way.

At 19, I took my first professional step as a receptionist in the real estate industry. I did not know where that first role would lead. I only knew that I wanted to learn, become independent and build a future through my own effort.

Opportunity, when combined with education, hard work and the willingness to learn, can take you much further than your circumstances might suggest.

More than two decades later, I am building RENALIYAS with the same belief that has guided me from the beginning: that opportunity, when combined with education, hard work and the willingness to learn, can take you much further than your circumstances might suggest.

The journey began in Renukoot.

Today, it continues through RENALIYAS.
